This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-” etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction

I know there has been a lot of controversy lately over the new plot line that Marvel has introduced. I acknowledge that people find it hurtful, and that their feelings on the subject matter, particularly in the case of Jewish people who feel that this flies in the face of the original creators of the character. This is not me denying those feelings have importance. They are important. What I am saying is that I know people have been playing a Hydra version of Cap since the first movie came out at least. They have been embracing an alternative narrative, exploring a dark side to the character, and what-have-you with no intentions of hurting anyone else, and now they might be feeling a bit attacked. Whether or not I think Marvel is doing something good or bad, I am not here to poop on other players or their ideas, so if you are playing a Hydra Cap, I’m not here to judge you.
